Help bring safety, stability, and opportunity to youth aging out of foster care.

Each year, 575 young adults age out of foster care in Michigan without the support they need. Many face homelessness, unemployment, and mental health struggles, with no safety net to guide them toward stability. Without intervention, these young people are left without a clear path forward. Your support ensures they have the resources, mentorship, and opportunities needed to thrive.

At The New Foster Care, we help young people with foster care experience rewrite their futures. We provide behavioral health-informed programming, mentorship, and access to critical resources that set them on a path toward independence. Additionally, we advocate for systemic change, pushing for innovative policies and programs that better serve youth in care. With your support, we can change the trajectory of their lives and ensure they aren’t left behind.
