Should I wrap the gifts?
No need! We're ready to wrap on your behalf. Believe it or not, it helps our team to receive unwrapped gifts. Want to wrap? Join our wrapping party as a volunteer, see our event page for more details.
How much do I need to spend?
We are so appreciative of your generosity! To make giving equitable, we anticipate that the value of the gift will reach $25 minimum.
What do I do with the gifts after I buy them?
Please drop them off to us at our office: The New Foster Care, 1615 S. Telegraph rd. If you need help locating our office, please call (248) 834-5567.
Can I take more than one tree/tag?
It is not uncommon for families to choose more than one tag!
Do I have to buy everything on the list?
This giving program consists of purchasing an item or items that add up to a minimum of $25.
Do I have to buy the exact wish list item?
Not exactly! Our participants selected the items in hopes of receiving them, but we understand if you need to substitute another similar option.
Can I buy everything from Amazon?
You can! But you definitely do not have to. Please shop wherever you prefer. You will notice that each item has a link that directs you to Amazon, this is simply for convenience.
When do they get their gifts/will they get them in time for Christmas?
The New Foster Care will host a participant Christmas Party before Christmas for participants to receive their gifts, those who cannot attend will have their gifts hand delivered to ensure they have a Merry Christmas.
