Trust-based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Connecting Principles

The TBRI® Connecting Principles include Engagement and Mindfulness Strategies to meet attachment needs. Participants will learn to create connections that disarm fear, gain trust, and enhance learning, all while developing the attachment relationship between caregiver and child. Registration begins at 9am and lunch is on your owns from 12:30pm-1:30pm. Certificate of attendance will be provided at the end of each session. This group is for any foster or adoptive parents that need to connect with others in similar situations, find support, encouragement and hope. This is a time to listen, to share, to cry, vent or celebrate little and big joys. Some months are topical and many or open discussion as needed. We meet the 3rd Thursday of each month (excluding June, July, August and December) at Kensington Church in Troy (1825 E Square Lake Rd.). Please contact Carol @ carol.verville@kensingtonchurch.org
