MARE Meet + Greet

The New Foster Care will be hosting a MARE Meet & Greet in collaboration with the Judson Center. This is a wonderful opportunity for approved families to meet youth available for adoption and engage in a fun activity. Registration is required, please contact Jessie Thompson at (734) 528-2070. If you wish to volunteer with The New Foster Care for the event contact Cristalynn Johnson (248) 884-7645.

Orientation offers an overview of the foster parent licensing process and what is expected from foster parents. This training provides information on Judson Center’s policies, the foster care system, and the needs of Michigan’s foster children. This group is for any foster or adoptive parents that need to connect with others in similar situations, find support, encouragement and hope. This is a time to listen, to share, to cry, vent or celebrate little and big joys. Some months are topical and many or open discussion as needed.
